"Kid Can't Even Tumble Good!"

The period of time for getting to know a person is

briefer than expected

                    I am not quite sure how brief

and the potential of a friendship almost certainly

will not survive an unintentional set of years

spent together

                    a childhood, for instance

the moment when you sit next to them on a train

at some point in the future will not be exactly

horrifying, but if the awkwardness  at finding that

you really don’t know much about them sets in,

it will seem more polite to ignore them

                    and who knows? this is not necessarily

                    untrue
